I purchased 10 beads, 15mm spheres, that are dark rust color, opaque, and banded on the equator with a whitish line which is crossed by a perpendicular band. The cross pattern can be seen from any angle. These crosses divide the spheres into quarters, each quarter contains a dot neatly centered in it. I am sorry I don't have a pic to show. I was told the decorations are natural and that the beads were agates. I sincerely doubt this since the decoration is so perfectly spaced and there was quite a nice quantity available at what I felt was not an unreasonable price. I have not been able to find any reference material that identifies these beads. Any leads? Yes or no, I am thanking you in advance!--Richard
