Odd Bead Galleries

No, these are not galleries of odd beads (we already have some of them). Rather these are galleries of beads from miscellaneous sources. The first of these was beads on cigarette trading cards.

The latest is a gallery of the first postage stamp series to honor beads (from Malaysia).

We have a gallery of
beads depicted on postage stamps.

You can't always make them out, but it is fun and you learn something along the way.

I thank Bucklee Bell for these scans.

This stamp is French and was issued in 1954 to commemorate the French jewelry and precious metal smithing industries (they did some for the dressmaking and glove industries earlier).
